In short
Our sixth agent runs the month-end checklist, chases what's missing and drafts the close memo for your review.
For two years customers have asked the same question: if Kestrel can match invoices and reconcile bank lines, why does the close still live in a spreadsheet? Today the Close agent opens to every Growth and Scale customer in beta.
What it does
The agent builds your close checklist from last month’s journal, tracks each task against its owner and due day, and chases anything that’s late in Slack or Teams. When accruals or prepaid schedules are due, it drafts the entries with the evidence attached and waits for approval.
What it doesn’t do
It never posts an entry on its own. Every journal it drafts goes to the reviewer you set, with the source documents and the reasoning behind each line.
How to try it
Turn it on from Settings, then Agents. It runs in shadow mode for the first month, so you can compare its checklist with your own before anything changes.
